Our Story
Who We Are
Soul Saving Productions is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit rooted in one simple commitment: to show up.
Founded in 2022 by James Junious, the organization was born out of lived experience. After overcoming his own journey through addiction and homelessness, James returned to the same streets — not with a program, but with a promise to never walk past people who needed to be seen.
What began with small acts of care — snack bags, haircuts, and conversations — has grown into a relationship-first outreach model that reaches people often overlooked by traditional systems.
Our Approach
Food, clothing, hygiene kits, haircuts — meeting people where they are, without conditions.
Consistent presence builds familiarity. Familiarity builds trust. Trust opens doors.
We don’t require people to be ‘ready.’ We show up until they are — and we’re still there when they are.
When someone is ready to step into recovery, housing, or stability — they are not walking alone.
Who We Serve
Soul Saving Productions serves individuals and families navigating homelessness, addiction, reentry, and life in transition across Los Angeles County.
Through daily street outreach, community events, and one-on-one relationships, the work follows a natural progression: meeting immediate needs, building connection, earning trust, and walking alongside individuals as they step into recovery, housing, and stability.
“Soul Saving Productions exists to reach those who have not yet been reached, to be a steady, trusted presence long before someone is ready to walk through the doors of a program.”
Our Values
◆
We show up. Every time. Not just when it’s convenient — but when it matters most.
◆
We see the person, not the circumstance. Every individual deserves dignity and genuine care.
◆
Real care means staying. Walking alongside. Being present through the whole journey.
